Availability Available all year, please see the Tariff and Availability page of the brochure for the current position on bookings.

Bookings are from Saturday 2.30pm – Saturday 10am or by arrangement.

Pets: No pets are permitted.
Smoking: Guests are requested to refrain from smoking within the cottage.
Reservation/Booking: Guests are requested to check the availability with the owners by telephone, to avoid disappointment. The owners will confirm the booking immediately with the guest by telephone . Telephone reservations will be held for five days pending receipt of booking form and cheque. Written confirmation of booking and receipt will be posted, faxed or e-mailed by return. Payments should be by cheque, deposit (if appropriate) payable on booking, with the balance (if appropriate) payable by six weeks prior to arrival. For late bookings, please make individual arrangements with the owners.
Alterations: In the event of any alteration of a booking a £15 handling fee will apply. All efforts will be made to accommodate the guests’ circumstances and alterations to dates of bookings, subject to availability. This will be without additional penalty providing at least six weeks’ notice is given prior to arrival date. If no suitable alternative is available and the notice is less than six weeks, then the £15 handling fee will waived and instead the cancellation charges detailed below will apply.
Cancellation: In the event of any cancellation of a booking a £25 handling fee will apply. Payment will be refunded as follows, according to period of notice:
  • At least six weeks’ notice 100%
  • Between six - four weeks’ notice 75%
  • Between four - two weeks’ notice 50%
  • Between two - one week’s notice 25%
We regret that no refund can be given for cancellations made less than seven days before date of arrival. However, a full refund (less the £25 handling fee) will be given on a cancellation in the event of another booking being obtained to replace the cancelled reservation.
Arrival/Deposit: Guests are welcomed by the owners, who are available by telephone to give any advice they can during your visit. A deposit of £50 against major breakages is requested on arrival, refundable on departure.
Utilities: Electricity and Oil are charged by meter reading on entry and departure – Electricity the first 50 units used are provided free of charge, thereafter at 15p/unit (1 unit = 1kWh). Oil the first 10 litres used are provided free of charge, thereafter at 40p/litre.

Owing to the volatility of energy prices we reserve the right to change these prices at short notice.

Departure: Guests are requested to be ready to leave at 10am on the day of departure to enable the house to be prepared for incoming guests. Utilities payment (if any)/Refund of Deposit.
Special Offers / Discounts: Discounts are available for Couples and Families wishing to make multi-week bookings and out-of-season (Band A) bookings. Please see the Discounts page of the brochure for details of discount offers and specific conditions pertaining to them.
